Quaker Faith & Practice

Quakers have no sacred text, but we do have a book, Quaker Faith & Practice, which reflects and guides our faith, and advises on the organisation of Quaker meetings and procedures. It consists mainly of extracts from Quaker writings, inspirational and challenging, from the 17th century to the present day. It is revised every generation, incorporating new insights while retaining the beloved writings that have become part of our tradition.

Advice & Queries

Advices & Queries, the first chapter of Quaker Faith & Practice, is produced as a separate pamphlet. As the title suggests, it advises on how to live our lives faithfully, and helps us to question ourselves. Many Quakers carry a copy with them, and are both comforted and challenged by it daily.
