This weekend is for people who have been around Quakers for a while and want to explore further. What does Quakerism mean to you? Do you need to know more? Is there any di erence between being an attender at Quaker meetings and becoming a member?
You will be guided, without pressure of any kind, by experienced facilitators from the Quaker Quest team. They will encourage you to re ect, ask questions and share your thoughts with others – all in the tranquil surroundings of a welcoming manor house in the heart of rural Oxfordshire.
Charney Manor is readily accessible by car from the M40 and the M4. It is 12 miles from Oxford and from Didcot railway stations.
Charney Manor can accommodate 35 residential guests, in eleven twin, eleven single and one double bedrooms. All but two of the rooms are en suite; the other two have dedicated bathrooms. One single room and one twin room, both on the ground floor, are adapted for wheelchair users.
Residential groups are fully catered for, with arrangements made for guests with special diets. Every bedroom has facilities for making hot drinks.
A computer and printer are available in the Library for guestsâ€™ use. Wi-fi internet access is available in both conference rooms and throughout our facilities.
